Metracore Labs ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. This policy applies to metracorelabs.com and any related services.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: email address, password (hashed), and display name. Browsing the catalog and pricing is open to all visitors; an account is required to place an order.
  • Order information: shipping address, order contents, tracking numbers, and order history.
  • Payment information: payments are made through Cash App, or by debit or credit card through our payment processor, Stripe. Payments are recorded against the purchaser's research account and order ID. Metracore Labs maintains order, payment, acknowledgement, and fulfillment records for compliance review. We record the payment method, the amount, and the confirmation or transaction reference you provide. We do not collect or store card numbers.
  • Communications: messages you send us via contact forms or email.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages viewed, collected via standard server logs and cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To process, ship, and manage orders and provide customer support.
  • To verify age and researcher eligibility.
  • To detect fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with applicable law.
  • To send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, receipts).
  • To improve the Site, our products, and the checkout experience.

3. Marketing Emails & Your Choices

When you create an account, subscribe through the Site, or request a restock alert, we may use your email address to send occasional marketing messages: new product announcements, restock and back-in-stock alerts, and promotional offers. We do not sell or rent your email address.
  • Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and honoring an unsubscribe request takes effect promptly.
  • Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional email (order confirmations, payment receipts, shipping updates), which we must send to fulfill your order.
  • You may also opt out at any time by emailing us; our mailing address and contact details appear in every message, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use strictly-necessary cookies for authentication, cart persistence, and site security. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Site (including sign-in and checkout) will not function.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
  • Shipping carriers and email delivery providers as necessary to fulfill your order. Cash App payments are sent directly to us, and card payments are processed by Stripe. Their own privacy terms govern those transfers. We never receive or store your full card number.
  • Hosting, database, and infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • Law enforcement or regulators when required by valid legal process.
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and order records for as long as needed to provide services and to comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations. You may request deletion of your account by emailing us; certain records (e.g., invoices) may be retained where required by law.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures: encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords, row-level access controls, and least-privilege service credentials. No system is 100% secure; you use the Site at your own risk.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, emailinfo@metracorelabs.com. We will verify your identity before responding.

9. Children

The Site is not directed to anyone under 21. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Users

Metracore Labs is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
